• Hello Petersburg Community Center patrons! We thank you for your patience while we line out the dates for our upcoming closure to accommodate the long-awaited sewer line repairs. Even as of today (Friday, 5/8) we have been dialing in how this is going to work. This is the schedule that we have prepared. It can be a bit confusing, so I will do my best to be as clear as possible.
  Friday, May 15th at 3p the Community Center in its entirety will be closed so that we may conduct events downtown for Little Norway Festival. We will also be closed on Saturday for the same reason ~ so come join us downtown and participate in the events!
  
  Monday, 5/18 – the ENTIRE AQUATIC CENTER WILL OFFICIALLY BE CLOSED! This includes the mezzanine. The GYM SIDE WILL REMAIN OPEN until our annual closure…
  Monday, 6/8 – the ENTIRE COMMUNITY CENTER WILL BE CLOSED for our annual cleaning and maintenance closure. However; the gym side will only be closed for 1 week!
  Monday 6/15 – the gymnasium side will reopen! During week prior, we will be assessing sewer project progress to determine if the pool can be reopened at this time. We will keep everyone updated.
  **PLEASE EMPTY YOUR POOL LOCKER NO LATER THAN THURSDAY, MAY 14TH!!
  Again, thank you for your patience. We have been working hard on this project for the past few years. We understand how important our facilities are for mental and physical health and apologize for the inconvenience.
  During our closures, we encourage you to explore other fitness options; log some miles for Walk Southeast, plan a kayaking trip, put some miles on your bike (summer event advertised soon!!), and so much more!
